I'm feeling particularly proud of The Fancy Shack this morning so I thought I'd add a little more to the "about" page.
The stuff before was a more formal, cliche approach to my about me page. Think of my business like a Buffalo Exchange for furniture. Buy sell trade. If you've been following The Fancy Shack for the past year, you'll notice that it's changed. That's because just like any NORMAL business run by a mother and daughter; we fought like the dickens. We had our own ideas for the shack. Especially the style of the product. I think hers is grandma moses, and she thinks mine is hideous as well. (The truth is , mines cuter)
The bottom line is - I don't have a fancy storefront like Pinkberry; but I have the best Shabby Chic.
The Fancy Shack was founded on a $0.00 budget. We understand
that $600 is not a reasonable amount for a dresser. We understand that you have
better things to do with your money. That's why we offer FAIR prices, for GOOD
furniture. Since our furniture is almost always Vintage, You can expect to find
Solid wood and dovetail construction. Often our furniture is under priced
because we want our customers to trust that the Fancy Shack is the
Under-Two-Hundred-dollars a-piece furniture store, and our niche' is inexpensive
Home Furnishings.
The style of our furniture could be classified as "Shabby
Chic" , "French Provincial", "Cottage", or "Antique". We classify our furniture
as "Cute Girl Furniture". Our goal is for all girls, poor and wealthy to be able
to furnish their homes with fine-quality items.
Whether you live in a thatched cottage or a Sea-Side Mansion, May your shack be Fancy.
